On the 23rd March 2024 (we had planned to do this on the 30th September 2023 but for health reasons this has been postponed). Lara and I are climbing Mount Snowdon, there’s a high chance I’ll cry on the way up and need to roll my way down as I am far from the athletic/fitness type. I have chosen East Anglia Air Ambulance as the 28th September marks a year since I encountered in action for the first time at a roadside in March. I would like to raise as much money as I can in aid of their incredible work.
In addition, I am pushing myself to complete 10,000 steps a day for the month of October as I am unbelievably unfit. Mind do this every year, with each person raising money through a JustGiving page but I will continue to use this fantastic page to raise money for all three causes. Completed on the 31st October 2023 310,427 steps!!
Finally, I have chosen Sands as the charity exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. I will be walking 25 miles in December to save babies' lives. I am aiming to raise £150 for the cause!
