London TCS Marathon 2024
Welcome to my fundraising page! 😊 I’m thrilled and, I must admit, a bit nervous to share that I’m running in the 2024 TCS London Marathon. As many of you are aware, my lovely nana Rose Millar has been courageously fighting bladder cancer for the past 5 years, and she recently underwent lifesaving surgery. I’m amazed by her courage and her journey to recovery, though incredibly challenging she does it with utter determination, she really is very special.
For those of you who know me well, it’s no secret that I’m not a natural runner…..however, my determination to push beyond my comfort zone is fuelled by a passion to support two remarkable charities: Macmillan Cancer and Fight Bladder Cancer. These organisations hold a special place in my heart, and I encourage you to take a moment to learn more about them in the sections below. I would be so happy if you could donate what you can to these extraordinary causes.
If you have the privilege of knowing Rose, you understand that she is truly one of a kind. She has dedicated her life to bringing joy to those around her, and now it’s our turn to rally together and support this meaningful cause. Your generosity can make a world of difference.
Thank you so much, together we can make a significant impact in the fight against cancer and support individuals just like my lovely nana on their path to recovery.

Fight Bladder Cancer was founded and is run by patients and carers and has now grown to become the most active advocacy group and charity for bladder cancer in the UK.
FBC provides information and support to everyone affected by bladder cancer, runs national and local awareness campaigns, supports medical research into better treatments and campaigns at the highest levels to turn the spotlight on this much-neglected cancer. We can only do our work with the support of individuals across the country who make fundraise and donate to us.
Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
