Those who know me know I have enjoyed running since I was a teenager. At midnight on Saturday 24 June, for the second time, I will be running 4km along the entire length of Aberdeen runway raising money for 4 brilliant local charities: Wee Too, Kayleigh's Wee Stars, Befriend a Child and Abernecessities.
We Too: Produce a free, quarterly “What’s On” Guide for her community. We Too! also delivers bespoke ASN/Customer Service Training to organisations as well as 6 week parent/carer and sibling courses.
Kayleigh’s Wee Stars: Provide financial support for families where a child has a terminal illness.
Befriend a Child: support children and young people living in difficult life circumstances across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire through 1:1 and group befriending and mentoring programmes and projects.
Abernecessities: provides disadvantaged families with the essential and basic necessities that No Child Should Go Without.
I know times are tough for a lot of people but any support you can give to these brilliant charities is very much appreciated.
