24hr Leeds Liverpool canal ride
So this event is for 2 charities that are very close to my heart, for a multitude of reasons & is between 2 cities that I love too.
I attempted to cycle this 127mile route in-between lockdowns in Aug 2020 on a whim, with no planning whatsoever. Thankfully due to being saved late on in the day from a small 27mile segment from just north of Wigan to Maghull, my Sister then accompanied me through the night time canals of Liverpool to finish my not too shabby 100 mile trip!
So now with 2 utterly amazing charities to support, I'm giving it another go, in the opposite direction, with a little more training... (although I do still need to buy a bike!)
I really appreciate anything you can possibly spare to donate to keep up my motivation on the day & support these wonderful charities to support others during their most vulnerable times.
And anyone who would like to join in PLEASE get in touch -the more the merrier / bunch of temporarily broken people together!!
