Innovative tech, built to support extraordinary individuals and events
As the Official Fundraising Platform for the World’s Toughest Row, GiveWheel is delighted to support participants’ fundraising every step of the way and to help raise funds for a wide range of amazing causes. We’re striving to provide the most innovative fundraising features so that inspiring participant events can maximise their charitable impact.
With GiveWheel, each team is able to choose as many charities as they wish in a single page – meaning no cause is left out. A dedicated page will showcase the fundraising efforts of all those participating in the World’s Toughest Row, so you can choose your favourite, or donate to support the entire fleet and their collective mission.
We’re the fundraising home of runway runs across the UK, offering participants a unique chance to complete a 5k or 10k for charity in the most unique setting - down a real, operational runway! Suitable for all ages, and with some capacities upwards of 1,000 participants per event, runway runs are a great opportunity to raise incredible sums for charity, with a truly unique experience for participants.
Most recently, we facilitated Glasgow Prestwick’s Run the Runway, where this event alone raised more than £100,000 for three great causes.
In 2010, Hari Budha Magar lost both his legs above the knee, to an IED in Afghanistan. Determined to change perceptions of what is possible for people with a disability, he reached the summit of Mount Everest on 19th May 2023, becoming the first double above-knee amputee to achieve the feat. Now GiveWheel is partnering with Hari as he takes on the highest peak on each continent to complete his Seven Summits Challenge.
GiveWheel’s unique option to split funds across multiple charities at any percentage split enables Hari to easily manage his fundraising from one central fundraising page. Find out more.
