Worlds Toughest Row!
9528
On December the 12th I am competing in the Worlds Toughest Row as ‘Lightship Atlantic’, 3000 miles of rowing solo across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean, all in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.
History tells us that the event lives up to its name with the likelihood of storms, capsizes and plenty of other challenges along the way.
I’ll be rowing as many hours as I can manage every day for around 2 months hoping to make good progress towards Antigua, although Mother Nature will be the judge of that!
Air ambulances are vital to provide the fastest access to critical care for everyone but especially in remote and difficult to access areas, quite literally the difference between life and death. Wales Air Ambulance relies solely on donations with no public funding but is critical to the communities it serves. Please donate if you can to support this amazing charity.
Thank you/Diolch!
