Run169 for Medals4Mettle (Run169M4M) was inspired by our new Connecticut Chapter of Medals4Mettle and our partnership with Connecticut Children's Foundation. Shan will run 1,100 miles through all 169 towns in Connecticut, raising money in support of both organizations. He will start on September 8 and finish on October 11 at the Eversource Hartford Marathon. The route winds through every CT town, passing landmarks and connecting communities along the way.Medals4Mettle (M4M) connects endurance athletes with children and adults fighting serious illness by delivering donated, hard-earned race medals as symbols of strength and resilience. Shan’s first multi-day charity run in 2008 was for M4M, making this a meaningful full-circle moment✨. We’re proud to be working alongside the Connecticut Children’s Foundation and the Hartford Marathon Foundation to bring this mission home.
Donations will be split evenly between M4M and Connecticut Children's. All donated medals will be gifted to Connecticut Children's.
