This September, I’ll set out to complete the Enduroman Arch 2 Arc – widely recognised as the world’s toughest triathlon. The challenge involves an 87-mile run from London to Dover, a solo 21-mile swim across the English Channel, and a 181-mile cycle to Paris.
Fewer than 65 people worldwide have ever completed it, and I’m aiming to make history as the first Scot to join that group. I’m proud to be taking on this challenge on behalf of Buzzworks, my family’s business, to raise funds for two brilliant charities: Hospitality Action and Ayrshire Cancer Support.
My attempt will take place in a weather window between 6th and 15th September, with the exact start depending on Channel forecasts, as favourable tides and conditions are vital for a successful crossing.
Hospitality Action provides support, training, and wellbeing services for people across our industry, while Ayrshire Cancer Support offers vital services to patients and their families across our local communities.
These are causes close to my heart, and knowing the difference they make will keep me motivated as I take on every mile, stroke, and pedal of this journey.
If you’re able to support, I’d be hugely grateful. Every donation, big or small, will help these charities continue their incredible work. Thank you for helping me turn this challenge into something that can make a real difference.
Thanks so much for your support,
Lyndsey
