This really is my last time!

This really is my last time!

While the Rolling Stones once sang, “This could be the last time,” I can say for sure — this really is my last time!

Once again, I’m dusting off my Lycra and helmet to take on a five-day bike ride across the UK, visiting Teenage Cancer units in NHS hospitals along the way. We’ll be cycling about 70 miles a day, starting on September 1st, and making stops in Cardiff, Bristol, Oxford, Cambridge — and finishing at the Royal Marsden in Surrey. As always, I’m covering all my own expenses.

Like I’ve done before, I’ll be splitting the money I raise between two charities close to my heart: Teenage Cancer Trust and Norwood. I’ve been a trustee for both for many years, and I still serve as Honorary President at Norwood.

If you’d like to help, there are two ways to donate: either by bank transfer to our firm’s charitable trust, which will handle collecting and distributing the funds, or through the link below. When donating through the link, you can choose to cover the platform fee or enter £0 to avoid it — it’s entirely up to you.

I’m so grateful for everyone who takes the time to read this, and I’m sorry to be asking once again. I’m proud to say that through these challenges — including 10 marathons, two mountain climbs, and 30 bike rides — I’ve raised over £2 million.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported me over the years. Your generosity has kept me going, even though I’ll admit I’ve never really enjoyed the challenges themselves! What I have loved is the camaraderie, the feeling of finishing, and, of course, the cakes waiting at the end!
