Oban Winter Festival Creel Tree Appeal

Following the tremendous success of Oban’s first-ever Creel Tree in 2024 built entirely by volunteers, the Oban Winter Festival is delighted to announce the launch of its 2025 Creel Tree Appeal — and the local community is at the heart of this year’s plans.

FOR INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES we are looking for £10 sponsorship to help make this year’s tree even more spectacular and help us build a legacy that will carry on for years to come!

PLEASE NOTE: BUSINESSES CAN SPONSER AN ENTIRE CREEL (or more than 1 if desired!) for a £25 donation. For each £25 donation you will recieve a dedicated Creel with your business name acknowleded on a large sign on the visible end. The 2025 Creel Tree will require a large number of creels — and the Festival is asking the community to sponsor them. For just £10, sponsors will have their name proudly displayed on a colourful tag on a creel and recognised on the Oban Winter Festival website and social media channels. Don't forget to add your own personal message or dedication in the message box when you donate!

All proceeds will go directly towards the cost of the creels, and the beauty of this project is that the tree can grow each year, building on what the community creates together. It’s a donation that will keep on giving & growing.
