The opportunity to do something I love, whilst raising much needed funds for the Shearman & Sterling charity partner this year at the 2022 London marathon was an opportunity too good to miss. This wonderful charity really makes a difference and offers opportunities to children and young people with disabilities and autism. I couldn’t be prouder to help raise awareness for the great work they do whilst running this year’s London Marathon.

As a few people may know, I started running back in 2008 following a couple of ankle breaks that curtailed my footballing career (that was probably going downhill in any case). Since then, I have been lucky enough to run distance events in many countries, although returning to London where it started some years ago is going to be pretty special.

I don't usually like to ask for sponsorship for events, but on this occasion, I really believe it is justified to help one of the smaller charities achieve their goals.
