60 Miles in 60 Hours - walking for marine conservation

Madeline De

We’re Maddy and Joe, two conservationists and ocean-lovers! We’ve set ourselves the challenge of walking the length of Ceredigion Coastal Path for – that’s 60 miles of coastal hiking – and we’re aiming to do it in 60 hours.
We are raising money for 2 charities that mean a great deal to us, working to research and protect marine wildlife in Cardigan Bay.

🐬 The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales: the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) is the charity’s marine conservation hub, dedicated to conserving Cardigan Bay’s marine wildlife through education and research.

⛑ British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR): a charity that rescues marine animals in distress or danger. BDMLR trains ‘Marine Mammal Medics’, amazing volunteers who respond to call-outs for marine animals along our coastlines, and we’re hoping to raise money for critical equipment to allow these medics to help more animals.

The fight is on to protect marine animals, like whales, dolphins and seals, so please donate to our fundraiser for these amazing charities.

60 Milltir mewn 60 Awr - cerdded dros gadwraeth forol

Maddy a Joe yma! Rydym yn gadwraethwyr ac rydyn ni'n caru'r cefnfor a'r moroedd! Rydym wedi gosod yr her i ni'n hunain o gerdded hyd Llwybr Arfordirol Ceredigion - dyna 60 milltir o heicio arfordirol - ac rydym yn anelu at ei wneud mewn 60 awr.

Rydym yn codi arian ar gyfer 2 elusen sy'n golygu llawer i ni, sy'n gweithio i ymchwilio i fywyd gwyllt morol ym Mae Ceredigion a'i amddiffyn.

🐬 Ymddiriedolaeth Natur De a Gorllewin Cymru: Canolfan Bywyd Gwyllt Morol Bae Ceredigion(CBMWC) yw canolfan gadwraeth forol yr elusen, sy'n ymroddedig i warchod bywyd gwyllt morol Bae Ceredigion trwy addysg ac ymchwil.

⛑ British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR): elusen sy'n achub anifeiliaid morol mewn trallod neu berygl. Mae BDMLR yn hyfforddi 'Meddygon Mamaliaid Morol', gwirfoddolwyr anhygoel sy'n ymateb i alwadau am anifeiliaid morol ar hyd ein harfordiroedd, ac rydym yn gobeithio codi arian ar gyfer offer hanfodol i helpu'r meddygon hyn i helpu mwy o anifeiliaid.

Mae'r frwydr ymlaen i amddiffyn anifeiliaid morol, fel morfilod, dolffiniaid a morloi, felly cefnogwch ein her i helpu'r elusennau anhygoel hyn.
