ROWING THE ATLANTIC: A 3,000-MILE CHALLENGE
We’re Lottie and Ethan a couple united by our love for adventure and the outdoors. In December 2026, we’ll take on the World’s Toughest Row: a 3,000-mile, unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean, from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean.
No sails. No engine. No support. Just two people, a 7-metre boat, and 1.5 million oar strokes.
For 45–60 days we’ll row 12–16 hours a day, battling waves, exhaustion and sleep deprivation, living on ration packs, sleeping in tiny cabins, and yes, using a bucket as a loo. Why? Because we believe in pushing limits, chasing adventure, and sharing a story of resilience that anyone can get behind.
How do we make it happen? How do we reach the start line? We need your help to simply get to the start.
Once you add race fees, training, safety equipment, and food for 60 days at sea and the budget rises quickly.
Every single contribution, whether £5 or £250+, gets us one step closer to making this expedition possible.
Originally, we thought we’d need to buy a boat in excess of £100,000 but borrowing one keeps costs leaner and allows us to focus sooner on training and preparation.
Join the Crew - Our Ocean Supporters Club'sWe want to thank everyone who helps us launch this dream. Here’s how you can be part of it:
🌊 Rogue Wave Club – £100 For individuals who want to join in a big way.- Your name on our boat & name on our website as part of our ocean family
🐬 Blue Marlin Club – £250 (Individuals & Small Businesses)- Individuals: your name or family name on our cabin roof- Small businesses: your logo on the inside of our hatch door- Feature on our website and social media shout-out
Why your support matters;Your donation, no matter how big or small, gets us to the start line. Once the row is complete, anything we raise will go straight back to causes that matter, multiplying the impact.
While we chase adventure, we also want to give back to those who save lives every day:
Our boat is named Pacemaker for a reason. We’re rowing for the hearts that need protecting, for the people whose lives depend on rapid emergency care, defibrillators, and breakthrough cardiac research. The British Heart Foundation is leading the fight against heart disease, and every donation powers vital research and life-saving treatment. Together, we’re rowing to beat heartbreak forever.
Calder Valley Search and Rescue (CVSRT) – Covering West Yorkshire, this volunteer team responds to emergencies on land, from missing persons to injured walkers, climbers, and cyclists. Fully funded by donations, CVSRT rely on community generosity to keep their lifesaving work going.
By supporting our fundraiser, you’re helping ensure these incredible teams can continue saving lives on land while we take on the Atlantic.
Your donation, no matter how big or small gets us to the start line. Once the row is complete, anything we sell will go straight back to causes that matter, multiplying the impact.
We invite you to join us on our adventure. By backing us, you’ll be part of the team making history as the youngest couple ever to row across the Atlantic.
Every pound brings us closer to making histroy and saving lives.
