2025 Everest Base Camp Ladies

Women chasing altitude and changing lives

This autumn, 20 courageous women will embark on an unforgettable trek to Everest Base Camp—not just to conquer mountains, but to uplift lives.

We’re stepping out of our comfort zones and into the breathtaking Himalayas to raise awareness and vital funds for three life-changing charities: Maiti Nepal, Herefordshire Mind, and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Why We Walk

Maiti Nepal is a sanctuary for women and children who have escaped the horrors of human trafficking. They offer safety, education, and the tools to rebuild lives—transforming survivors into empowered, independent individuals.

Herefordshire Mind is there when mental health challenges feel too heavy to bear. They provide critical support, counseling, and community services—helping people find light in the darkest times.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers brings hope to children who have lost a parent serving in the British Armed Forces. Through emotional support, mentoring, and fun activities, they remind bereaved military children that they’re never alone.

Your Support Matters

This journey is bigger than us. It’s about making real change—and we can’t do it without you.

Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly to these charities and the vital work they do. You're not just helping us reach Everest Base Camp. You're helping survivors reclaim their futures, individuals find peace of mind, and children smile again.

Together, we can climb mountains—for hope, healing, and empowerment.

When a parent dies, the impact on their child is significant. When that parent served in the Armed Forces, the impact is even greater with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that. Together, we can ensure the very best bereavement support remains available.

Maiti Nepal was born out of the conscious efforts of teachers, journalists, and social workers who banded together to fight social evils inflicted upon women. Spearheaded by the founder, Anuradha Koirala, the organization began in 1993. The primary focus of the organization is preventing trafficking for forced prostitution, rescuing survivors of the flesh trade, and rehabilitating rescued women.
