The NYA runs the London Marathon

The NYA have three members of staff running the TCS London Marathon. They are Ellie White, Alia Pike, and Chris Milner. The team are collectively raising money for the NYA.

Below is a little bit of information about each runner.

Chris Milner:
I joined the NYA in 2023 to help evidence the impact of youth work and am delighted to be representing an organisation that has done so much for me as an employee, but also has such an impact on young people and youth workers.
I've been running for years but this will be my first marathon (hopefully of many!), and I could not be more excited!

Alia Pike:
This summer I celebrate 30 years of working with young people and the London Marathon will officially be my 29th marathon, but who is keeping count.
I'm running for the National Youth Agency, a charity that I have known about since I studied youth work back in 2000 and have had the pleasure of working for since 2021.
The NYA has youth work at its heart and shares many of the same values as me, and therefore it is the perfect charity to run.

Ellie White:
I have been a part of the NYA since 2021 and I am super excited to be running the London Marathon for the National Youth Agency. It is a privilege to work alongside those who indirectly and directly support so many young people in all walks of life and it will be a privilege to run every one of those 26.2 miles and champion youth work along the way.
I normally run on trails so I am sure the tarmac is going to be a shock!
