Tuesday, 4th February 2024 was World Cancer Day.
With so many different types of cancer, it is inevitable we will all have our lives impacted by it in some way. Reputedly, one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer at some stage of their life.
Cancer Research UK is the only cancer charity that funds research into all types of cancer and has been doing so for the last 120 years.
Macmillan Cancer Support help individuals and their loved ones come to terms with a cancer diagnosis, supporting them all whether it be physically, emotionally or financially.
To mark World Cancer Day and in recognition of the great work these 2 charities do in the UK, my colleague, Leah Hayes-Kowalczyk and I are organising a Charity Gala Night to be held on 9th May, where all proceeds will be split equally between both causes.
The poster provides more details about what’s in store for the evening and how to request tickets in advance.
If you can't attend and would like to donate here instead, please do.
Any donations prior to, during or after the event will be split equally between these two charities.
Many thanks in advance for your support.
