Having spent the past couple of years supporting fundraisers do amazing things, now it's my turn!
The challenge is simple, do something active every day, whether it's a gym workout, abbs workout, pickleball or a long walk up, starting on the 20th March up until my 30th Birthday on the 20th June - 3 months!
Why have I picked these charities
Child Bereavement UK - As many of you will know, I lost my mum at 6 years old. This had a huge impact on my life growing up. 15 years later, in my early 20s, I decided to seek help in coming to terms with my mums death, so I turned to Child Bereavement UK, most importantly, they listened to me.
Ehlers Danlos Support UK - Initially I had wanted to do a skydive or a wing walk, but I quickly found out that's not recommended for people with EDS. Then I thought of a marathon, but found out running isn't recommended either. So I thought I'd do something that would help my joints - fitness challenge with resistance training. Being a genetic condition, many people in my family live with EDS so chose this charity so that people living with the condition can get the support they need.
I have chosen the donor led option, so you can choose which charity you donate to.
Thank you in advance for your donations and please help me reach my target! I will need the motivation when the challenge starts.
