Contracts Team Three Peaks Challenge

Steve Lemarie

On Friday the 27th June 2025 the Amersham contracts team will be heading off towards Fort William in Scotland to get ready to start the National Three Peaks Challenge!

The team consists of Steve Lemarie, Hardik Gala, Scott Irwin, Dan Finnegan and Dan Masson.

Light Training has already started for some of us and will be the focal point over the coming months to give us the best possible chance of achieving the challenge in the target time of 24hrs.

We will supporting the following charities, with all funds raised being split equally between the three charities listed below.

Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley near Bath.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity
British Heart Foundation (BHF)

National Three Peaks Challenge:
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales. We aim to start climbing Ben Nevis at 6am on Saturday 28th June and complete Snowdon by 6am on Sunday 29th June.

The total walking distance is 23 miles, (37km), with a total ascent of 3064 metres, (10,052ft). The total driving distance is 462 miles.

The three mountains we will be climbing as part of the challenge are:
Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)

These are the tallest mountains within each representative country: Scafell Pike is the tallest in England; Snowdon, the tallest in Wales and Ben Nevis the tallest in Scotland.
We will be climbing these without an official guide relying solely on our maps, compasses and determination to complete this challenge.
