Sean and Max’s Swavesey to Spurs sixty miler

Before my 50th birthday last year I wanted to test myself again to see if I had the legs to run another marathon. This was part 1 of my challenge ! This brings me onto Part 2 of my challenge !Part 2 of this challenge is to run from my home village of Swavesey in Cambridgeshire to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This has been an idea now for 5 years and I was waiting for Spurs to win something before I attempted it but soon realised that might be further away than I hoped, so I’m doing it now whilst they are in top form ! Stop laughing !If one idiot running wasn’t bad enough I will be joined by my god son and very smug Liverpool fan Max Rose to share the pain ! Hopefully along the way we will be joined by more people to support us and push us along.Approximately 60 miles, this ultra distance is uncharted territory in running for me and I will be pushed to my limit with it and I will need to dig deep to achieve this.I will be raising money for ACT Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and for Mind. This will be in aid and memory of all those who have lived with cancer , know someone close to them with cancer and or who have lost someone close to them with cancer. I myself are indebted to the treatment I received from Addenbrooke’s 20 years ago so this is a charity very close to my heart.Along side this I will also be raising money for Mind as more and more people need the support for mental health , especially us men who find it hard to open up to someone, friends and family. It is so important to get help if you need help, if you’re not in a good place or if you can help someone if you know they are struggling.
I would be so grateful to any donations and support for this challenge so from the bottom of my heart thank you.
