2 Marathons for 2 Great Causes

I am asking for to help raise money for two separate charities. The Brain Tumour Charity and Changing Faces.
In order to double the amount of money I can raise I have decided to set myself a big challenge and run not one but two marathons over 3 weeks! That's right, the Brighton Marathon on April 2nd and the London Marathon on April 23rd. I know what you're thinking - that's a lot of miles! But trust me, it's all worth it. Did you know that the distance between London and Brighton is just over 50 miles? And I will be covering that over both marathons in April.
The Brain Tumour Charity is an organisation that is incredibly close to my heart. It is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Unfortunately I have witnessed first-hand how awful a diagnosis of GMB Brain Tumours are having lost not only my mother to the disease as a child but also my father to a GMB Brain tumour almost 6 years ago. According to the Brain Tumour Charity, approximately 5,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with a glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumour each year, and GBMs account for about 45% of all primary malignant brain tumours. The mortality rate for GBMs is very high, with around 4,300 deaths each year in the UK due to the disease. This highlights the urgent need for more research and better treatment options to improve outcomes for those affected by this devastating condition.
I am also raising money for our corporate charity partner Changing Faces. Changing Faces UK is a charity that supports people and families affected by visible differences, including those with conditions such as birthmarks, scars, and skin conditions. Here are some key points about the charity: Changing Faces UK offers a range of services, including counselling, peer support, and educational resources, to help individuals and families cope with the challenges of living with a visible difference. The charity also works with schools, employers, and healthcare providers to promote understanding and best practice when working with people with visible differences.
So what do you say? Will you help me reach my fundraising goal and make a difference in the lives of others? Every little bit helps, so please donate what you can. And don't worry, I promise to take it easy on my feet after these two marathons!Regenerate response
