100 Miles Swim in March 2025
In March 2025 I am going to swim 100 Miles to raise money for two charities close to my heart.
That's 200 lengths (5km) per day for 30 days.
Then 400 lengths (10km) on March 31st to take me to 100 miles (160km).
My son, Ted, was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease in 2023. A rare disease that unfortunately many health professionals found difficult to diagnose. Societi UK are the UK foundation for Kawasaki disease and they have critical information surrounding this disease. With the help of their website and social media pages, we were able to push for the correct diagnosis and most importantly time essential treatment for Ted.
The Evelina Childrens Hospital London treated my son and we will be forever grateful for the fantastic care he received and will continue to receive in the future.
