As much as I hate running, I couldn't let this one pass me by. As a Travel and Tourism lecturer and having lived so close to cancer for the past year meant that the chance to run the runway at Prestwick Airport whilst supporting such worthwhile charities seemed like a great opportunity.
So on the 2nd November I'll be running 10k along the runways. Today I went out to the airport and got an opportunity to have a tour. We drove down the runways and I can confirm that it will be the longest 10k ever!
Training is in progress and any sponsorship that you are able to give will not only spur me along but also go a long way to support 3 fantastic charities that do so much to help others.
