Brave4Bob
Hi I’m Grace, Bob Thind’s daughter.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page my family, friends and I have set up here.
For those that may not know, my mother Charlotte, my brother Oliver and many other family and friends lost our father, husband and friend Bob Thind in 2023. It still feels so raw, unfair and hard to comprehend.
Because of this we have decided to start a legacy in his honour:
#Brave4Bob
This is a consistent series of short and long term challenges set by us and You, to achieve goals, celebrate accomplishments, and salute breakthroughs that are out of our comfort zone.
It’s hard to think of another person who has the same level of passion for life and devotion to pursuing adventure and happiness more than my Dad, therefore we have made a lifetime commitment to him and ourselves to continue his ethos.
Brave4Bob is an inclusive community hub where family, friends and even likeminded strangers to Bob, can get together, encourage and inspire one another to be Brave and enjoy fulfilling lives, whilst also raising money for charities close to our family’s heart:
- Carers Link Lancashire : Their purpose is to provide person centred and holistic support and services to unpaid carers and indirectly the people they care for, across East Lancashire by provision of information, training and support and to raise public awareness in all aspects relating to carers and caring.
- Six Connections Community C.I.C: Six Connections join the dots and help start honest mental health conversations. Helping mates to talk and support each other. Making those tough conversations easier.
Though this will consist of physical challenges, they will not be the only type of challenges we will taking on. Challenges will be in the form of trying new hobbies, learning new skills, travelling to new places, experiencing new cultures and taking risks to enjoy the limited time we have here and leave our stamp on Earth as we strongly believe it is just as important to live the breadth of life, not just a lengthy one.
Please feel free to like, share, get involved with and also send in any ideas to combat accomplishments achieved that we can celebrate in unity.
Success comes in many different forms, and all wins should be celebrated. No matter the size, and there was no bigger advocate for this then the one and only, Bob Thind.
Stay tuned, be brave.
