Hello!
I'm The DLD Mouse and I'm going to be cycling from London to Paris, starting on the 3rd of September. It's around 200 miles and it should take me 4 days. I'm doing this to raise awareness for Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). DLD is when someone finds talking and/ or understanding difficult. It's lifelong and around 1 in 14 people have it. However, not that many people of heard of it. That's why I want to raise awareness.
I'm also going to be raising money for the charity RADLD (raising awareness of DLD). RADLD's mission is to increase international awareness of DLD, spread reliable resources and have a global network of advocates for DLD. Here is their website for more info - https://radld.org/
I'm very new to the world of cycling, but I'm looking forward to the challenge and raising money for this amazing charity.
