Jonny Ashton and Sam Matthews are aiming to play golf a sport close to our hearts for 24 consecutive hours both on a course and on an indoor simulator starting on the evening of the 1st September 2024.
We are raising monies for two charities. The Firefighters Charity and Rosemere Cancer.
Sam sadly lost his Dad 11 years ago to cancer. His Dad was an avid golfer and the reason Sam spent 15 years in the industry as his early career. Sam said, “being involved in this fundraising event and supporting Jonny after his journey / battle, feels really special!.”
Jonnys battle has been more recent following a diagnosis in August 2023, and both of the charities helped him and his family through very difficult times.

This would not be possible without the support of Darwen Golf Club and golf professionals Dom Fitzgerald and Paul McEvoy who have supported our fundraising.
