Walk all over womb cancer

Pip and Matt, and their closest friends and family, are raising money for the Eve Appeal and Peaches, aiming to walk a collective total of 1,000km in a single weekend in the Peak District.

Pip was diagnosed with womb cancer when she was 36 and has been on a long journey to recovery. We are looking for something positive to come out of her devastating diagnosis, and wanted to find a way to give back to the charities who have helped her through her journey, and are at the forefront of womb cancer advocacy and research.

The Eve Appeal is the UK national charity funding research and raising awareness into the five gynaecological cancers. They fund groundbreaking research in to the treatment and prevention of gynaecological cancers, as well as campaigning to raise awareness. They also run a free specialist information service - Ask Eve - to answer questions and give advice, providing essential support to patients and their families at difficult times. This service was invaluable to Pip during the darkest of times.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust was founded in 2020 and works to raise awareness, support patients, fund and promote womb cancer research.
