Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
The Team at Origin8tive are changing the perception of IT workers by taking on a gruelling challenge. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is 24.5 miles spanning over three peaks in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The team are doing this to support two fantastic charities:
Walking With The Wounded ‘WWTW’ deliver employment, mental health and care coordination programmes in collaboration with the NHS to get those who served, and their families, whether mentally, socially or physically wounded, back on their feet and making a positive contribution once more.
Cheltenham Animal Shelter who take care of around 70 dogs, cats and small animals, as a smaller charity they often get overlooked with fundraising and this is where we can help.
Show your support by donating and spurring us on to not only smash this challenge but to create awareness and funds for these two outstanding charities.
We did it!!!
The Origin8tive team have done it! They conquered all three peaks with everyone passing the finish line. The weather was beautiful, the views were spectacular and the conversation was moral boosting. Even at the final peak of Ingleborough every team member had massive smiles on their faces. Not only have they achieved this massive challenge but they have also raised money for two fantastic charities.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter
Some members of the team have visited one of our chosen charities today. Cheltenham Animal Shelter welcomed our team and showed them exactly how they put all your donations to good use. Providing not only rehoming facilities but also vets, boarding kennels, cattery, sensory gardens and many more. The team absolutely loved meeting not only the volunteers but also their furry friends.

Training Complete
The final training walk has been completed! Pen y Fan was a great final training challenge for the team, the views were breath-taking and the weather even better. These training walks have enabled the team to improve not only their fitness but they have all had a chance to get to know each other better as well. Everyone is now ready to take on the challenge on the 21st June!

Training walk number 2 complete!
Another month and another training walk completed!
April saw the team take on the impressive elevations of the Malvern Hills. This was an 11 mile trek across some stunning scenery, with the sun shining, some great conversations and powered by Haribo we made it to the finish.
One last training walk will be completed in May with the majority of the Origin8tive team tackling the notorious Pen Y Fan.

Cleeve Hill Training Walk
A few team members took to Cleeve Hill to get 6 miles under their legs. A great training session and the weather held up which made for some fantastic views.
