Peak Divide 2024

Hello! Max and Charlie La Fosse here. We're participating in the Peak Divide this April and would love your support.

The Peak Divide is a two-day, 76km trail run from Manchester to Sheffield, up and over the Peak District and camping overnight in Edale. It's billed as an adventure for the ultra-curious - considering that a very flat half-marathon is the furthest either of us have run, we might fall into the category of ultra-stupid too.

We're hoping people will have a chuckle at our delusions and sling us a few of your hard-earned pounds and pennies - anything really helps and it would mean the world. We'll be splitting donations between two charities close to our hearts:

Max is raising money for the Refugee Community Kitchen: https://refugeecommunitykitchen.org/
He's been involved with them since 2017, travelling out to Calais and providing food for the displaced people there. He now volunteers with their Outreach arm in London and can testify for the impact each donation makes, with just £5 providing 70 portions of rice. RCK is a small organisation with a massive impact, and any donations will go a really long way.

Charlie is raising money for Guy's Cancer Charity: https://guyscancercharity.org.uk/
This will help support the centre where Kerry (soon-to-be mother-in-law and fellow cheesecake enjoyer) is currently undergoing treatment. She has been so well looked after there, but there are many upgrades that would make lives of patients + staff easier. Your donations would go to improving the building, supporting staff and enabling more clinical trials.

Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️ time for us to go and do some stretching
