The Lake to Lake Cycling Challenge - 1600 Kilometres - 10 days

Three middle-aged men from Rochdale, Tim Knight, Tim Fairley and David Kennedy, are embarking on an adventurous journey from their local beauty spot, Hollingworth Lake in Littleborough, to the stunning Northern Italian Lake Garda. Covering a distance of approximately 1600km, including 10,000 meters of hill climbing through the Alps in Switzerland and Italy, all within only 10 days. This incredible feat is in the memory of their old friend, Simon ‘Teddy’ Taylor, and in support of Springhill Hospice and the British Heart Foundation, with a fundraising goal exceeding £50,000. The challenge kicks off on May 9th and concludes in Peschiera del Garda on May 18th.
