This September I will be completing a solo swim across the English Channel. It will be 2 years to the day from when I began training for this. This will be by far the hardest challenge I have ever undertaken. More people have climbed Everest than have completed the Channel swim!
I have invested many 1000's of hours in training for this, many hours of non stop swimming - face down in a lake, shoulders burning and just alone with only the occasional fish swimming past to keep me company.
So I would like to ask you to kindly donate towards the two Charities I have chosen to swim for:
Help for Heroes & Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group.
I have set up a Givewheel sponsorship page - They split all donations 50/50 between each charity and take no commission.
I would like to thank Do3 for training me from a below average swimmer into the beautifully chiselled athlete I am today. But most importantly I would like to thank my amazing wife for helping me along the way, for all the hours & hours I have spent face down swimming in lakes, she has been holding the fort and kept supporting me throughout.
