Our 3rd Birthday is fast approaching & with such a successful celebration last year I've decided to add in a wee challenge for the Mini-Fit team this year to mark the occasion of our 3rd year in business!
With that in mind we are going for all the 3's....
30KM + 300 Burpees for 3 local charities with 30 participants!
On Saturday 24th February myself and 29 others will be running our very own Mini-Fit relay at Aberdeen Beach where we will each take it in turns to run 1km as fast as we can, complete 10 burpees then pass the baton to the next person until we reach 30km! I wanted to find something that would challenge each person individually, some of our group are runners where the challenge is to push themselves to get a good time, others detest running and the focus is just to hold on and push to the 1km mark.... and well the burpee's they are just for added fun!
As the mastermind behind what some would call crazy idea I have decided to challenge myself by completing the full 30km and full 300 burpee's with my team - AAAHHH! I haven't done any long distance running in quite some time so I'm fully expecting this to be a mental game but it's all about pulling our physical & mental strengths out the bag!
