Throughout December I’m doing the Reindeer Run Challenge to support RNLI lifesavers during their busiest time of year this winter. I will be aiming to run 24 miles in support of the brave volunteers who give up their time for the RNLI. That’s 1 mile to represent each hour they will be on call over Christmas Day.
They are entirely funded by donations and every penny raised will help to power brave RNLI crew and lifeguards as they save lives at sea. Please help me to fundraise to give them everything they need to launch to the rescue.
The RNLI is a charity close to my heart, while fortunately I have never needed to rely on them, I have family and friends who have worked for, and benefited from the fantastic service that they provide 24hrs a day 365 days a year. It has always been an ambition of mine to be part of the crew one day and while I am lucky enough now to live by the sea unfortunately, we are outside of the required catchment area to guarantee a pager response time. Instead, I continue the support I have given them over the past 20 years by fundraising and I am proud to once again be doing my bit to support the amazing work they do.
Thank you so much for your support – you’re a lifesaver.
Best wishes
Ben
