Churchwarden Mary Shepherd and Rev Helen are turning themselves into Christmas baubles to raise funds for two very good causes in our community at this year's Christmas tree festival. The trees will be on display in St Mary's from Sunday 3rd - Sunday 10th of December, opening times 10.30-3.30pm. On Wednesday 6th there will be late night opening with entertainment, and Helen and Mary will be transformed into Christmas baubles, by having their hair shaved off and their heads painted and glittered!Monies raised will be split between the refurbishment of the Church Rooms, and Leeway which supports people experiencing domestic abuse.

Established in 1974, Leeway is an independent charity providing support to adults, young people and children who are experiencing domestic abuse in Norfolk and Suffolk. We operate eight safe houses and people experiencing domestic abuse and their children are welcome to stay as long as necessary to secure a future free from a dangerous partner.
