Heath to Heath

My team and I are taking on a 300km walk — from Heath Mount School (where we live) to Bomere Heath in Shrewsbury (where my mum and dad live). Just over 186 miles in two weeks… a challenge we’re incredibly motivated to complete.
We’re doing this in support of MSA Trust and Blood Cancer UK
My beautiful mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2022, which was later identified as Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Despite everything, she continues to live life to the full and is a constant source of strength and inspiration to us all. She’s lovingly cared for by my wonderful dad, and we couldn’t be prouder of them both.
Although there is currently no cure for MSA, the MSA Trust provides vital support to people with the condition.
This walk is also deeply personal for another reason. In 2025, we tragically lost the girls’ grandma, Tom’s lovely mum, and my wonderful mother-in-law, Linda, to a rare blood cancer. Linda was born in Shrewsbury, so this journey is also a walk back to her roots — a way to honour her memory.
Alice (12) and Marley (9) will be walking alongside us for their Nanny and Grandma — showing incredible determination and love every step of the way.
This is more than just a walk — it’s for family, for strength, for memory, and for hope.
If you’re able to, please support us and give generously to both charities. Every donation truly makes a difference.
If anyone would like to join us for any part of the walk please do let us know!
Thank you so much for your support.
With love,
Sarah, Tom, Alice and Marley. X
