MARK BRADBURY TRIBUTE FOOTBALL MATCH AND FUNDRAISING
17152
On 31 December 2025, Mark Bradbury sadly lost his courageous battle with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei at the age of just 44.
Mark was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and someone whose warmth, humour, and kindness touched the lives of so many. His loss has been felt deeply by everyone who knew him. This event provides an opportunity for family, friends, teammates, colleagues, and the wider community to come together to celebrate his life, share cherished memories, and honour the remarkable person he was.
To pay tribute to Mark, a special charity football match will take place on 18 July 2026 at Ravenshead Football Club. The day will be a celebration of friendship, community, and football, bringing together people from every part of Mark’s life to remember him in a way that reflects his spirit and the lasting connections he built with so many.
Alongside celebrating Mark’s life, we hope to create a lasting legacy by raising funds and awareness for two causes that are incredibly important to his family.
Supporting Two Important Charities
Pseudomyxoma Survivor (Registered Charity No. 1143642) provides support, information, advocacy, and awareness for people affected by Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, a rare cancer that impacts thousands of families across the UK and beyond.
The Christie Charity (Registered Charity No. 1201654) is the dedicated fundraising charity supporting The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, the specialist cancer centre that provided treatment and care for Mark throughout his illness.
Every donation made through this fundraising campaign will help support the vital work of these two charities, ensuring that others facing similar challenges can receive the care, support, and hope they need.
How You Can Help
As part of our fundraising efforts, we have organised a number of activities that will run alongside the event, including an online charity auction, an online raffle for a unique piece of football memorabilia, and a traditional match-day raffle featuring a range of fantastic prizes.
Online Charity Auction - click on the link - https://gvwhl.com/JLYTY
We are incredibly grateful to the sports clubs, businesses, and organisations that have generously donated a variety of exciting items and experiences for our online auction.
The auction provides a fantastic opportunity to bid on unique prizes while helping to raise vital funds for our chosen charities. Every winning bid will contribute directly to the fundraising total and help create a meaningful legacy in Mark’s memory.

We are also holding an online raffle featuring a very special prize for football supporters: a signed Nottingham Forest shirt from the club’s legendary 1979/80 European Cup-winning team.
This unique piece of football memorabilia has been kindly donated to support our fundraising campaign. By purchasing raffle entries, you will not only have the chance to win an incredible prize but also help support two charities whose work changes lives every day.
Match-Day Raffle - (tickets currently being sold locally in Ravenshead and also online)
In addition to our online fundraising activities, we will also be holding a traditional raffle during the charity football match on 18 July 2026.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, supporters, and friends of the event, a variety of fantastic prizes will be available to win. Raffle tickets will be sold in advance and on the day, giving everyone attending the opportunity to support the fundraising effort while being in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
