Run for RebeccaLaunching on 3rd May which would have been Rebecca’s 52nd birthday From the day of her diagnosis with stage 4 Non Small Cell Lung Cancer to the point she could no longer get out,Rebecca ran 2,395 miles.Running wasn’t just something she did.It became part of who she was — and part of our family life. She set herself a goal of 50 miles a month. She ran after chemotherapy. She ran after infusions. She even sneaked out early in the mornings during Covid when we were meant to be isolating. And those who followed her on Garmin will know exactly when the pre-treatment steroids kicked in — because suddenly she was about 30 seconds a mile quicker… proof why they’re banned — and why we’re grateful Parkrun doesn’t test. But more than anything, running gave Rebecca strength. It lifted her on the hardest days, helped her stay positive, and kept her going when things were tough. She inspired so many others to get moving too.The ChallengeWe want to turn Rebecca’s miles into something that helps others.👉 2,395 people👉 each completing a 5K👉 and making a donationWalk it.
