Collection in Lieu of Flowers for Joan Watt
1501
Following the passing of SMA Honorary President Joan Watt FSMA, the SMA has created a fundraiser for her friends, colleagues, and SMA members to support her nominated charities in her memory.
Joan was at the heart of the founding of the SMA and her insistence that Sports Massage be treated as a discipline worthy of respect in its own right underlies all the progress we have made as a profession. The SMA, its members, and anyone working in soft tissue owes her a great debt.
Contributions will be donated equally between Guide Dogs UK and the Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals.
All contributions gratefully received
