As part of my new role as the Mayor of North Lincolnshire Council I have chosen to raise money for two local cancer support charities that are close to my heart and that provide such vital help to residents across the community.
Cancer touches so many lives – so to be able to support Macmillan Cancer Support Scunthorpe and Hope House, which provide support to people at a time when they need it the most is something I feel privileged to do.
I have set an ambitious target of raising £10,000, so if you are able to help, please do make a contribution. Together, we can make a life-changing difference.

I am also looking forward to hosting some extra special events including charity balls, concerts, and, for the first time ever, a talent show!
