The LGHF Product Team are running, walking and cycling (and possibly even crawling) 1000 miles to support three amazing charities.

From Monday 10th to Sunday 23rd July, the Product Team will get their exercise gear on and collectively move at least 1000 miles in support of our chosen charities. During the cost of living crisis it is even more vital that charities are supported through these challenging times. Whether through personal experiences or experiences of those close to us, the team would really love to make a difference to these charities.

Brainstrust: Provide personalised support and build resources that help people with a brain tumour and their loved ones live the life they want after diagnosis. They work with people in the clinical setting to secure the best possible care for people with a brain tumour and they campaign to solve real issues, because they understand what challenges people with a brain tumour face.

Addison's Self Help Group: The Addison’s Disease Self-Help Group (ADSHG) is the UK and Ireland charity working to improve the lives of people with Addison’s Disease, adrenal insufficiency and all who support them. Addison’s is a rare endocrine condition where the adrenal glands do not produce enough steroid hormones and can be life threatening.

Lillian Goodfellow Group of Friends: A voluntary group of 4 friends who raise money for The Marie Curie hospice in Solihull, West Midlands. The group has now been together for over 20 years years and was formed when one of the friends lost her mother to Breast Cancer in 1998. They have raised over £500,000 from numerous charity events including the "Pink Ball" held every October in Birmingham.
