We’re running the Dartmoor Marathon in aid of DSRT Tavistock and Brain Tumour Research

We've done it! All 16 team members finished the marathon. See our updates tab below for photos from the event.

This April, members of Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team (Tavistock) will be taking on the Dartmoor Marathon.

We are running in memory of Jane, a much-loved team member who passed away last year. Jane was a long serving member of the DSRT Tavistock, and was known for her incredible courage and determination. In Jane’s memory, part of the funds raised will be donated to the charity Brain Tumour Research.

We are also running to raise funds for our team - DSRT Tavistock. A group of volunteers who give their time to keep people safe on Dartmoor, often in challenging and unpredictable conditions. Everything we do relies on fundraising and public support.

Thank you for supporting our runners, remembering Jane with us, and helping us continue to respond when people need us most on Dartmoor.
