Race Across Selco 2026

The Selco Senior Leadership Team will be joined by Martin Hastings (Leyland CEO) to take on a big challenge inspired by the hit TV show Race Across the World, and it’s all for a great cause!

Split into four teams of two (Teams Blue, Yellow, Pink and White), they’ll be dropped off at Selco York store with just £100 each. Their mission is to get all the way to Selco Exeter using whatever transport they can find, within 3 days and completing a selection of challenges along the way. That means plenty of running, hopping on trains and buses, maybe even hitch-hiking, and definitely relying on the kindness of strangers along the way. It won’t be easy, but that’s all part of the fun!

As they race across the country, the teams will be asking for donations to support their fundraising - which is probably how you’ve landed here.

Funds raised will go to Cancer Research UK, Selco’s official charity partner, helping to fund vital research in the fight against cancer, as well as our Selco’s 2025 Community Heroes, a selection of brilliant local organisations doing amazing things for their communities
