I totally believe in living for today. In 2023, I turned 50 but hadn't been feeling myself for months. It turned out to be leukaemia.
A late diagnosis meant I was very poorly – four rounds of chemo, multiple infections, eight months in hospital, and a year of chemo tablets later, I'm back and seizing the day.
I'm raising money as a heartfelt thank you to the incredible team that saved my life, took care of me and kept me sane (along with all my amazing family and friends). The donations will be shared between these charities that looked after me in body and spirit, so they can continue to support others going through similar things.
