Thames Bridges 25km Charity Trek
Revolent are joining forces with Salesforce and their partners for a 25km walk that will help us make a difference for three incredible charities—Mind, Pancreatic Cancer UK and St. Martin’s School.
Starting at Revolent’s office at Plantation Place, teams will embark on a 25km trek that crosses 11 bridges over the Thames before returning in the opposite direction, passing many of London’s iconic landmarks on the way, finally finishing at The Drift Salesforce Tower in the heart of the city.
Mind is a charity that offers advice and support to anyone struggling with mental health, as well as being advocates for raising awareness and understanding of something that affects one in four people every year. By helping to empower those in need, they’ve touched millions of lives across England and Wales.
Pancreatic Cancer UK aims to change the future for everyone living with pancreatic cancer. They’re working with world-leading researchers and people affected by the disease, in order to transform and save lives. Their vision is to ensure that everyone with pancreatic cancer survives to live long and well.
St. Martin’s School in Kenya is situated in Kibagare, one of the poorest slums in Nairobi. The school offers children a safe environment where they can eat, learn and play, empowering them to build a better future. Its many programs have helped transform the lives of its students with funds being raised being used to offer even more opportunities as it looks to build a new secondary school for local boys.
Partner Team Entry requires a £1,000 donation per team, with individual entries from Salesforce employees to donate a minimum of £50 (which will be matched by Salesforce) and Revolent/Tenth Revolution Group employees to donate a minimum of £100. This money will be split evenly between these three amazing causes.
For all donations please add your team name to the beginning of donation message so that it can be counted towards your team fundraising total.
With your help, we’re changing the lives of people around the world.
