Halstock 24hr 3 Peaks Challenge!

We’re thrilled to share details of our next big charity challenge: the legendary Three Peaks!

A team of ten from Halstock will be tackling the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — all within just 24 hours.

This year, we’re raising money for two brilliant charities: one national, closely connected to the work we do, and one local, close to the team’s heart.

1) The Woodland Trust

A national charity dedicated to protecting the UK’s woods and trees. They safeguard irreplaceable habitats, revive damaged ancient woodland, and expand native tree cover across the country. Every day, they work to ensure the 1,000 woods in their care can grow, thrive, and support future generations.

2) Yeovil Opportunity Group

A volunteer-led charity pioneering pre-school education for children and families with additional needs for over 55 years. Among the first of its kind in the UK, it was founded by a paediatrician and a Speech and Language therapist who recognised the need for therapy, play-based learning, and family support for children aged 0–5 with specific medical or developmental needs — children who might otherwise miss out on a place in traditional pre-school settings. Sadly a neighbouring branch is closing due to lack of funding.

Any support you can give will make a huge difference — and we’re incredibly grateful for it.
