Endurance athlete Sam Holness, who was the first openly autistic athlete to complete the Ironman World Championships asked his major partners to team up to help create a unique charity fundraiser ahead of his participation in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella.
Running until the end of November, the fundraiser is supporting;
- Ambitious About Autism (www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk) who provide specialist education, employment, and support services for autistic children, young people, and adultsAnd- Superhero Sports foundation (www.superherosportfoundation.org.uk) who remove the barriers to participation in sport for people with disabilities. Their work includes creating events such as the Superheroes Triathlon that Sam has previously participated.
To launch the fundraiser, Canyon have customised the graphics on Sam’s Speedmax CFR triathlon bike, HUUB have created a stunning custom trisuit, and Sam’s Fizik Kunee TT helmet has received a matching custom paint job. Sam’s race kit has been completed with design-matched SunGod eyewear and Hoka training tops for his support crew.
Prize List for Raffle with 20 prizes worth more than £15,000 and growing includes:
- A fully built Speedmax CFR Di2 triathlon bke with a retail value of £10,199 (in size small, as ridden only once by Sam at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. o Ambitious about Autism (www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk) who provide specialist education, employment, and support services for autistic children, young people, and adults, alongside raising awareness, campaigning for change, and sharing information to help them “learn, thrive, and achieve” fulfilling lives. The charity runs specialist schools and colleges, offers national programmes for employability and youth participation, and hosts the online forum Talk with Autism.

The charity fundraiser is being run to GiveWheel’s standard terms and conditions.
All proceeds from raffle barring delivery costs of items go directly to charities via GiveWheel platforms.
Recipients are responsible for any taxes or duties on physical items received.
The Canyon Speedmax CFR will be drawn first and then Hoka prizes and then others prizes in a random order.
Hoka prize vouchers are only redeemable in the UK. If a Hoka prize winner is based outside of the UK, an alternative prize of a similar value will be allocated and the Hoka prize redrawn.
