World Land Trust (WLT) pioneered the Buy an Acre concept of buying land for conservation, starting in 1989, and has, since then, funded ground-breaking habitat protection for more than 30 years, with an impressive track record of achievements.
Through the generosity of people like you, World Land Trust have helped purchase or directly protect more than 2,658,367 acres of threatened habitat and funded the planting of more than 2,715,402 trees worldwide – a victory for the countless endangered species that live in WLT-backed reserves across the planet.
