Dentaid The Dental Charity provides dental care and oral health advice for vulnerable members of our communities who are often at risk of health inequalities including people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse. Our goal is to break down the barriers our patients face in accessing dental treatment, relieving pain and increasing confidence in their oral health.

We operate through our mobile dental units which travel the UK providing outreach dental clinics for the most vulnerable people in our communities, supported by volunteer dentists and dental nurses. In the last year we have delivered over 800 dental clinics, providing over 27,000 dental treatments. With the generous support of our donors and fundraisers we have also been able to add 3 new charity dental units to our fleet, expanding our total to 11.

Our BrightBites oral health education program is also a large part of our work through which have been able to positively impact tens of thousands of children across the UK.

Dentaid also supports our dental partners around the world which is where our journey as a charity originally began. We currently run outreach clinics in Uganda, Malawi and Cambodia as part of our overseas volunteer trips for dental professionals.
