Chipping Norton Lido Ltd

The Lido was saved from closure by local residents in 2004 and is now run by the community as a charity. The Lido offers a 25m heated pool, toddler pool, cafe and lawns, providing a full programme of swimming, lessons and activities, including artistic swimming, yoga and Tai Chi.

With no public funding other than a small annual grant from the Town Council, the trustees have launched a 250,000 appeal to fund energy saving and generation technology, and to make capital improvements, and thereby secure the future of the pool for local people as well as visitors to the area.
