GiveWheel and krono:sports have announced a new multi-year partnership, bringing GiveWheel’s fundraising technology to some of the UK’s most distinctive mass-participation events.
The partnership will see GiveWheel support charitable fundraising across krono:sports’ owned and operated event portfolio, helping participants turn their challenges into greater impact for the causes that matter to them.
krono:sports owns and operates a growing portfolio of mass-participation brands, including Run Fest Silverstone, Henley Swim, OneRace Events and Run to the Sea Bournemouth and Brighton, alongside its wider work delivering events and event services across the UK.
The multi-year agreement reflects a shared ambition between GiveWheel and krono:sports to make fundraising a more engaging and integrated part of the participant experience.
As part of the partnership, participants will be able to create their GiveWheel fundraising pages through dedicated event journeys, with the flexibility to support the charities that matter most to them.
Each event will benefit from a branded fundraising experience, bringing individual and team fundraising together and giving participants access to GiveWheel’s growing suite of fundraising tools.
These include multi-charity fundraising, allowing participants to support multiple causes from a single page; DonorLed, which gives supporters the option to choose which charity receives their donation; and DonorMap, which visualises where a fundraiser’s community of supporters is located.
Participants will also have access to GiveReel, GiveWheel’s personalised fundraising recap that turns each fundraiser’s journey and impact into engaging, shareable content after their event.
The partnership is designed to go beyond simply providing fundraising pages.
GiveWheel and krono:sports will work together throughout the multi-year agreement to increase fundraising participation, strengthen relationships with charity partners and explore new ways of embedding fundraising throughout the event journey.
With krono:sports operating its own mass-participation brands as well as providing professional event services to other organisations spanning registration, results/timing and event delivery, the partnership also creates opportunities to explore how GiveWheel’s fundraising technology can support charitable impact across the wider events industry.
This partnership adds krono:sports to a growing community of mass-participation organisers working with GiveWheel.
GiveWheel already powers fundraising for events and organisers including ABP Southampton Marathon Festival, Run Norwich, Good Running Events, and World’s Toughest Row, providing technology designed specifically around mass-participation fundraising.

“We’re delighted to partner with GiveWheel across our growing event portfolio. We want fundraising to feel like a natural part of the participant journey, giving people simple and engaging ways to support the causes that matter to them. We’re excited about what we can build together and the impact this partnership can create.”
