We decided on Middleton Woods - off road and with shade. Hot, humid, good company. And yes, good parking, loos and an excellent cafe!
16k (10 miles) in 8 x 2k stages with skort walks between each. It was one very long way! Thank goodness for hospitality stop and encouragement at a pal’s an£ to run with a friend
Smiling (through gritted teeth - me), 12k of running - 2k x 6 plus .5k walking after each 2k stage! Over 2hours on our feet

Along with this being the 6th Parkrun of the challenge, we all claimed a Y for Parkrun challenge alphabeteer and a new venue as Parkrun tourists

July 18th - During the 7 mile run
Along the old railway, up steps, then through the woods before returning on the old railway. Scenic route and close to the Bridgewater canal. Second week nearly completed.
In lovely weather, glad we went Monday not Tuesday!
Well we had just done the Parkrun!
The challenge has begun!
Press ups started, 7k ran and the first of the Parkruns - Clarence Park in Bury - run…..yes already weary, thank goodness for pals!! And coffee!

What a beautiful place to run the final Parkrun of the challenge and thanks to my pals, who came to run it too or support us.
Friday November 3rd, the sun was shining and there was no rain!
And this was where I’d hoped to run!!!
I was in Hartlepool and ready to run along the prom, but the wind was so strong, I couldn’t stand up against it……hence, once home, we ran in the torrential rain instead! Well, I guess, it’s called a challenge!
